Passion City Church D.C. — Attraction in Washington

Been in DC for about 5 months and I’m only just finding Passion City Church. I wish I found it a lot sooner. My family had an amazing experience gathering with other believers to worship.

The word from Pastor Ben was such a blessing. It was the unadulterated word delivered with humor, simplicity and power.

Looking forward to worshipping here the little time I have left in DC but it would be nice if the church can work on their SEO so they can rank up really high when people google “churches in DC”.

P.S: My 4 year old absolutely loved their bloom church for kids and he can’t stop talking about going back to church.

Preached on Psalm 57, discouragement due to circumstances or sin, key point Grace covers all just journal about it and sing.

Relevant subject & biblically sound EXCEPT a key omission: the requirement to deal with sin by repentance. 2 Chronicles 7:14, Luke 3:3-8, 2 Corinthians 7:9-10

Has a person truly repented if they keep sin secret between them and the Lord? Have they repented of robbing, lying or hurting others if they keep it secret in a journal and don’t take accountability, don’t apologize and try to make those injured...

Very vibrant, large congregation that trends younger, (though not exclusively); the majority of attendees are probably in the 18-35 demographic. This church helped me reconnect with my faith after many years away. It is a non-denominational church that avoids many of the pitfalls and criticisms that other non-denominational churches may fall into. The preaching (from multiple members of staff) is all-around superior. The preaching is a good mix of intellectual and emotional. It's accessible to those who may come in with questions or a lack of familiarity with a church setting....
