Horrible experience. Horrid communication and follow-through. Do not use Framebridge to frame artwork that has any sentimental or material value. I dropped off an unstretched oil on canvas painting 5 weeks ago. When I still had not received my art back after 4 weeks, I followed up with customer service. Apparently, the frame that I had ordered was out of stock, but no one on their team had bothered to inform me!! This was ironic, because several weeks earlier, one of their customer support specialists had reached out to me to suggest that I go with a different frame and also use a mat and put it behind acrylic glass, which they themselves do not advise for oil paintings. I declined. It makes me wonder if they had known earlier that the frame I ordered was out of stock, and then just literally dropped the ball until I followed up.
To their credit, when I said that I did not want any of the alternative frames they suggested, they did give back a refund. However, the anxiety and time lost that I have incurred due to their carelessness has not been worth it, and I greatly regret choosing Framebridge.
As of today, even after several inquiries, I still have not received confirmation that my artwork is being stored properly. Nor do I have a tracking number for the return of my artwork. Framebridge's website only shows you 5 star ratings unless you filter for the bad reviews, and it seems that there have been numerous cases where people have had their artwork damaged or lost. Now I am even more worried that after all this time and back and forth, whether I am even going to be able to receive my artwork in an undamaged condition, even...

Iâm extremely disappointed with the service at the 14th St location. I purchased a stunning piece from an art gallery in flawless conditionâexpertly wrapped in protective paper and rolled into a tube. When I arrived at Framebridge, the staff inspected the artwork (which was still pristine), and we carefully selected the best framing option. I was told Iâd receive an email once the piece was mounted, along with a tracking number and estimated delivery date.
Fast forward a week: my artwork arrives, and itâs damaged. Under the glass, I can clearly see crinkling across the bottom of the canvas/paper. I was devastated. This was an investment piece that I truly love.
I immediately walked several blocksâcarrying this large, framed piece back to the store because parking is nonexistentâonly to be met with zero accountability. When I showed the staffer the damage, there was no apology, no concern. In a matter-of-fact tone, she simply said she would send it back to the framers to âsee if they could fix it.â Her attitude made me believe this kind of issue wasnât uncommon.
Well, I just received the âfixedâ version, and itâs just as wrinkled and damaged as before. I spent $240 at Framebridge for them to ruin my artwork. No one has contacted me to explain what happened, apologize for the poor workmanship, or offer a refund.
I will never use Framebridge again. If you have valuable or sentimental art, do yourself a favor and take it somewhere that...

First I need to say that the staff was very kind and helpful, so the review is not based on the staff at this location. That being said, the quality is not worth the price when it comes to framebridge.
We had three prints framed, all roughly 2x3 and it cost over $700. The paint job on one of the gold and black frame was sloppy and not opaque enough. The other two frames had a plastic tortoise shell type of finish, which came out looking black basically and not as vibrant as in the store. The tortoise shell frames also had a bunch of tiny scratch marks all over them and were not as smooth as the floor samples. Like they had been scratched up in the warehouse or something.
Also the mounting hardware on the frame was installed at all different heights, thereâs no uniformity in where they attached the wire and hardware⌠so not only are there different hardware sets for the same style of frame, it makes it really hard to line the photos up evenly if you need to do different calculations to hang each photo⌠like why didnât they install all the hardware and wires like 3 inches from the top???
They also didnât use glass, which there are pros and cons for and so thatâs ok to me, the plexiglass is high quality and doesnât look like cheap plastic to me.
All and all, the frames look good but not worth the price in my opinion. It would be a huge hassle to take them back to the store, have the staff ship them to another part of the country to fix the...
