A small park and splash pad for this Waukee neighborhood. First day of June and it was packed! I would say the splash pad is aimed for ages 1-5. Older kids might get really bored. The water is a spray ground with two sprinkling trees. It was kind of hidden between houses. You can definitely miss it to the drive way in. Google maps has the entry marked incorrectly. There is a building you can rent for parties and two covered picnic table areas to seat outdoor parties. No mature trees yet. Tree shade was very few. The play ground is very spacious and open. I would say the playground is aimed for ages 5-10. Overall I think this park is a cool addition for the neighborhood. Bring little kids out here....but be mindful: BIG kids might get bored. 3 stars for esthetically pretty and function. Lost a couple stars because it didn’t hit all the fun for my older kids and the water pad wasn’t a full splash of fun.

New natural like park with a splash pad. Open 10am-8pm. No lifeguard. Picnic shelters and benches. Restroom facility on site to change and a indoor area for getting work done in AC or eating lunch. In order to get the splash pad on just find the triangle buttons on the ground outer edge of the splash pad and press on it until it lights up/ water turns on. There is also a nice green space for playing soccer, kickball or running around. Nearby tennis courts across parking lot.

I love this park. Fun things to do and labeled areas for different ages. We didn't get around to the splash pad this year. I appreciate that the ground is a soft surface. I wish there were public bathrooms! I saw multiple kids just go pee in the grass around it!! 🤮 The steps to the slide are literal boulders, which isn't safe at all. Even though this area is marked for 5+, younger kids are using it as it's the only slide. It looks nice but is definitely form over function.

Loved it for my 2 year old. Only concerned was the slide. The only way for him to get to the slide was going up actual big rocks/boulders. Not sure who came up with this design but one slip and that could be a huge lawsuit.

Bigger kids can get to the slide either by the boulders, the rope walk, or the rock wall.

The slide is a double and make sure someone is on the end as the little slides down. My son literally flew off and a stranger was kind enough to catch mid air before he hit the ground. He absolutely loved it though.

The splash pad was nice the wasn't to high nor was the water pressure to strong. Would definitely recommend the splash pad area from kids 1 to maybe 7 years old. Any older they may become bored like a few kids there who just sat under...

I attended an event at the Fox Creek Pavilion, do to the time it started at 6:00pm all the parking was already taken up by people using different areas of the park, one would think if you rent the Pavilion there would be designated parking, so be ware if you rent the pavilion your guest may not have any place to park. Don't get me wrong a nice place for a small gathering, just don't count on guest being able to park. Several large vehicles that were parked, parked on the grass since they could go up over the curb, I wouldn't think that...
