My mother raised me to, “always walk outside your home expecting to meet the most important person you could possibly meet.” This meant dressing and grooming ones self for such an occasion; including a decent pair of shoes and a respectable watch. Always.
There comes a time in every working professional’s life when they’ve reached a milestone of achievement that they’d like to honor. For some, it’s treating themselves to a vacation to their dream destination. For others, it’s a car or some other leisure toy. For myself, like my father and his father before him... it was a timepiece. A Rolex, to be specific.
This wasn’t just an expensive purchase- this was an intimate purchase rooted in family tradition.
I was referred to Leo’s by a friend who’s purchased several timepieces from them and has had nothing but great things to say. So, I figured I’d give them a try in pursuit of acquiring the ultimate fruit of my hard labors.
I don’t know about whomever is reading this however, the choice to purchase a Rolex is one that was a personal goal. The choice on whom I purchased this Rolex from was equally as important to me- I’m hoping this will be my first of many purchases.
From the moment I walked in, this family owned business made me feel like family. The service they provided me as a potential buyer was excellent. When I explained that buying a Rolex was a goal I had like my father and his father before him (yada, yada, yada, etc...), I was intensely educated on the history of the Rolex brand.
After explaining my wants, needs and intended use of this Rolex to the team at Leo’s, I was then given several options that matched my desired style, size and budget. Explaining the functionality of each model they presented to me in detail so I wouldn’t just be purchasing a timepiece but, learning the heritage and value of what ultimately would become a family heirloom I passed down to my children.
A special thank you to Alicia and her family for taking thier time to turn an an uneducated consumer into a proud first-time Rolex buyer.
My only wish is that I could leave a sixth star in this review because I not only left Leo’s a satisfied, educated, buyer but... a loyal friend to this family that will have my...

DO NOT sell your old jewelry here They missed out on a 1 mil estate collection, but they have no problem passing you up in line for their friends, I waited 2 hours after getting my watches fixed, only to get a different guy (not the one I waited 2 hrs on) and was treated as if I was an idiot, did not feel like I was being treated whatsoever fair, and the guy laughed at me when I didn't take his gold "estimate" he mistakenly made by pressing the wrong button on the scale. Turns out he was the owner. I didn't touch any scale. I didn't cause it to be closing time by the time I got help. I got much less as THE OWNER laughed at me on my way out after being there 3 hours. I was just trying to help my mother and get fair market value. Not trying to be insulted and waste my entire evening. I realized afterwards I was never offered any of the stones he removed but didn't pay me anything for. I've NEVER had that happen in my life.
So as far as a "test" they could not have failed any worse. I should have recollected the few things I did sell and left-i was too frustrated, been there 3 hrs and wanted to leave before I got upset back. The petty money I got today didn't matter and wasn't the point. I have a large amount of very valuable jewelry and need to find a store I can trust, so on this one I've saved you the time.
Even a diamond ring I know is worth a lot he said the low number would be 4,000 but more if he looked at it closer. When he looked at it closer and took it all apart suddenly it was 2500.
I would not have had the ring even disassembled for $2500. I really needed an appraisal but those are 81$, when I can get them for free.
I am done with this place l, I did not feel comfortable afterwards whatsoever, they are only good for watch batteries.
I want to add that the women at the counter were nice and made me feel comfortable, which is why I waited.
Not interested in even speaking to people I clearly...

I can't say enough about Leo's Jewelry and staff. I have personally experienced this exceptional customer service and I want to brag a little about this store.
I recently went to Leo's for some work to be done on my wife's ring. I called before I went because I wasn't sure of the time they were closing. They told me earlier that day that they would be closing @ 5pm. My wife and I arrived about an hour before closing and they were closed before 5pm.
I emailed Leo's Jewelers to let them know that I called earlier that day and that I was told they were going to be open until 5pm. I explained we had driven through a Michigan snow storm to have my wife's jewelry worked on. We rarely have a day off together and this was our only option, making the store closing disappointing.
I received an email back with a sincere apology and was told they closed early because of bad weather. Leo's Jewelers is a family owned business and knows how to take care of their customers. We have done business with them for years, my Father bought my Mothers wedding ring here over 40 years ago. They asked me to come in so they could take care of my needs. To my surprise they took care of everything I needed repaired, sized and plus some!! This is a company who doesn't just sell quality jewelry but a company who cares about their customers and makes sure I am satisfied to the fullest. If your looking for a wonderful place to buy Jewelry or need a repair, ask for Rob!!! Thanks again for everything Rob!
