SAT 2025.08.09 06:10, after i arrived and parked my vehicle in the parking area beside Harris Teeter, Ardrey Kell Road, i went for an 8+ mi CCW Loop walk: to Flat Branch Nature Preserve, Flat Branch Park, onto the Flat Branch un-marked "boot-tracks", and back to Harris Teeter. After the "iffy" crossing of Flat Branch Creek (GPS approx: 35.04396_-80.79920), i got lost for a while in the marsh before i safely out to the residences 😅 Relatively nice and cool weather, high 70s_F during my ~3 hrs walk. Saw no other person on the Flat Branch "trail", but a total of 10+ people (walking, jogging, cycling) in the neighborhood. Everyone was cheery and friendly.
