I love this place and they fixed my cheap ring. Here's the story: First off, I'm not a wealthy person. I don't have a lot of money, but I wanted to gift myself something special for my birthday. So... I went to the Internet. I found a stunning little rose gold ring with moissanite stones. I paid $278, and that was a chunk for me. I LOVED the ring for 2 days, and then it started threatening to break. Of course, I was horrified and very sad. I started scrolling online for jewelry repair; that's when I saw Indigo Jewelers and their impressive ratings.
I called up the store and swallowed my pride as I confessed that I had an Internet ring, straight from China, and that it was breaking. In the same breath, I explained how it was a gift-- I left out the fact that I pathetically bought it for myself. In my mind, I imagined the person on the other end to be disgusted. I mean, I was talking to a fancy jeweler who has rich people for clients! But, I could not be more WRONG. Michael immediately understood my plight and how important the ring was to me. He did NOT make me feel stupid; he made me feel like a valued customer. I then mentioned my budget, and he promised to work within it.
When I first walked into the store, I was amazed by how gorgeous all the pieces were inside the glass cases. Again, I felt a sting of awkwardness knowing that I couldn't afford such quality pieces. However, that discomfort soon melted when Michael greeted me. Stacey came out to meet me as well. They told me my personality "sparkled." I was offered a drink and began to enjoy a conversation. It felt like I belonged there. It was pleasant, and my mind was at ease.
I slipped off my ring, the 10k ring with the bent head, and handed it to Michael. He quickly assessed it and came up with a plan to strengthen the ring's design, making it more sturdy. He also tightened up a few prongs that were already loose. He gave me a gift bag (containing a miraculous jewelry cleaning solution). He fixed the prongs and gave me the gift bag BEFORE I signed up to do business. Of course, I happily signed for him to fix my ring.
Michael had the ring fixed in 2 days and stayed 60 dollars BELOW my budget. The ring is more beautiful than before and the head of it does not wiggle at all. I feels secure, and the prongs are all flush against the stones. There's no more snagging. I would say my ring is worth much more now. Michael knew how special the ring was to me and took great care of it. He even offered to fix my sister's engagement ring for very little charge (or free) when he heard about her situation and how she didn't understand that rings do not belong in bleach.
I would suggest this jewelry store for everyone. You will feel special and respected, and the people inside care and see you as a person. They will work with you to get your needs met. Thank you for...
Read moreI brought my brother by here to help him do some research for an engagement ring. And I didn't know this would be the first and last stop in his journey to find the perfect ring - for a woman who had a biiiiiit of wants & must-haves in a ring (you can punch me later, Ashley lol) But the google reviews were convincing enough and they are local to me, so I suggested we start here. And its why I wanted to add to the stellar reviews.
Kayla was bright & wonderful from our first step in the door, listened to our needs, made us feel at home - as if I have watches & diamonds sitting around lol - but very down to Earth and kind.
She relayed our info to Michael, who didn't need to say a whole lot to convince me he knew more than most, which wasn't even the selling point. He is warm, genuine, took the time to get to know us, what the bride to be is like. He wasn't phased by the budget, materials, stones, style. Very humble, never tried to sell us on him or something not desired.
After about an hour he disappeared to the back and came out with a set of bands - 1 of which my brother dialed in on from the get-go and was the first he picked up to show us. He listened, had his own 'aha!' moment and knew exactly what she wanted when he picked that out
The finished product was beyond stunning, better than either one of us imagined. Oh, and the bride to be? holds breath . . .
LOVED IT!
I cannot thank you two enough for how happy you made two of the most important people in my life.
And at risk of sounding snooty, I'm used to dealing with a certain private shop in Clayton that takes weeks or months to get into. This experience was same day and better quality service. Honest, direct, treated us like it was a ring for one of his family members.
I very much look forward to doing more business here (yes, I still want that watch we talked about) and will not hesitate to send friends & family here.
Don't second guess it, this place...
Read moreI have never been more satisfied with customer service at any other establishment. So I own this piece of jewelry that is very special to me. It's just a simple silver band I wear on my ring finger with Hebrew engraving on it. It is probably only worth $30, but it means a lot to me and is the only jewelry I ever wear consistently. (I'm not the most fancy person.)
So it has been getting pretty loose, and I didn't want it to slip off of my finger, so I took it to the jewelers to get it sized down a size and a half. I walk in to this very beautiful and dazzling store with my $30 sterling silver ring.
The man I spoke to was so friendly, and he proceeded to tell me that resizing generally starts at $85. I held my breath, a little embarrassed, thinking I could never afford that and the ring itself isn't even worth that much. He then pauses, looks at my little ring, and says, "But I'll give you a discount since you seem like a very nice girl." He dropped the price over $50 for me, but then proceeds to say, "But I'll treat it like it's $100 million, because I know that's what it's worth to you."
It was the sweetest thing! And yes, that ring certainly is worth that to me. They called me barely an hour later, my ring sparkling and beautiful, even more so than when I first bought it. When I tried it on, it fit perfectly of course, and when I marveled, "Wow, it is absolutely beautiful!" The same gentleman replied, "Well I believe it's the woman who wears it." Thank you Indigo Jewelers for making even your most humble customers feel valued and...
