Grace City Church — Attraction in Wenatchee

Grace City Church was suggested to me by someone within the ACTS 29 network of church plants. I had high hopes and previous experiences with churches within the ACTS 29 network. Throughout my time at grace city the church moved away from the acts 29 network and strayed farther and farther into a less loving and more conservative, politically driven machine. The church openly spread hate for the LGBTQ+ crowd despite saying they were an inclusive church and open to all people. The church leadership was not responsive to feedback in that department and in fact doubled down when it was pointed out. The small group was the saving grace of the church for a while and then as soon as a time to disband the group appeared despite being called "family" and I haven't been spoken to from those leaders since. I admit, I pushed and questioned topics that obviously were not to be questioned but I was thoroughly disappointed at the ending of that group. This is a church that treats its own well and is happy to have people come in but will not trust or go out of their way to serve some underserved populations...

Rest For Your Soul

I started attending Grace City Church about 18 months ago. The pastors consistently point to Jesus NOT themselves, the music, the building or the people in the church. You will always hear what you NEED when you attend Grace City Church. Jesus IS The Truth, The Light and THE ONLY WAY to God.

As surely as the sun rises in the East and sets in the West, nothing in this world will EVER completely satisfy you. People WILL fail you, your body WILL betray you, the numbing effects of substances WILL flee and the newness of material things WILL fade.

You ARE NOT enough contrary to popular belief. Only Jesus CAN give you the rest for your soul that you're desperately seeking. Put your COMPLETE trust in Jesus, LEAVE your sins behind and He WILL make you new! You WILL NEVER look back and regret YOUR decision.

We were looking for a church that was solid theologically and has community to get connected. So I listened to the series through Acts, and the God Saves Sinners one was phenomenal so we started attending. Everyone was and is super welcoming, encouraging you to get connected, get in a small group, etc. The first part of the mission - “We exist to help more people meet, love, and follow Jesus.” Is just the beginning. It continues on with the rest of the Mission I’ve observed in the lives of everyone I’ve crossed paths with- “So that lives and legacies might be transformed as more people know God, live free, and do good in the world God made.” As believers we are transformed by the Spirit, and we hold each other accountable and also give grace, yet lifting each other upward and onward, turning away/repenting from our former wrongs against others and God.
