This is a Review Gateways Customer Service & Ticket Scheduling on the ("VIP") early viewing of Star Wars - The Last Jedi. 12/14/17 6-pm
Tickets: Back in November Tickets for ("VIP") early viewing of Star Wars - The Last Jedi went on Sale for $20 limited sales. VIP access 21+ with limited edition trading cards, bucket of popcorn, and extra content only available at the theater on this showing. When purchasing you get a disclaimer to confirm "VIP" ("You must be the age of 21+, ID's will be checked and tickets are not refundable.")
False Advertising: These tickets were not "VIP" and you did not have access to the VIP area and all ages welcome. I purchased these tickets for the VIP section, like advertised, for Luxury Seats, Smaller Crowed, Maturer Age Group, Alcohol Access, and private concessions. Instead being thrown into one of there larger theater rooms packed to the rim with people. (Luckily my fellow Star Wars community of all ages had no issues with being loud or bothering those in the theater) Also with this false advertisement 4 - 5 friends were not able to attend with our group because of this disclaimer saying only ages of 21+ and ID's will be checked. If we knew it was going to be for all ages we would of had a larger group and had a even better experience.
Customer Service: When employees were being confronted about this, and this wasn't just myself. The VIP scam was a hot topic in the theater and many confronted them on this. We got excuses such as " Oh it does that disclaimer for anything that categorized as VIP. And or oh that only shows on the PC version of our website. The Mobile version doesn't have that. " When planning this event with friends we used both versions PC and mobile to buy our tickets and also show our younger friends the disclaimer and description that this is VIP 21+ only. When told this they told us the could refund our tickets for the VIP at 7pm but we are sold out and you dont get your extra content you paid for.... You could tell that Gateway had screwed up because No employee could look at anyone in the eye and kept there head down for anyone that confronted them about this issues because they knew they screwed up.
This is just a review on Gateway. As for Star Wars 15/10...
Read moreThey have a 21 and over theatre which is cool if you’re into drinks and movies. You do you, that’s great!
However if you don’t catch the small print on a mobile phone that says that it’s “21 and older only” along with all the other terms and conditions and bring a minor with you, you’re hosed.
They will happily switch your ticket if there is a showing close by BUT they certainly can’t refund the difference of 4 dollars per ticket. For a family of 5 there goes 20 bucks they swindled from you.
Additionally, this place is Mask Police city. I have no problem with anyone wearing a mask if they want to but don’t force me to participate in your shenanigans if I disagree. I certainly don’t force others to partake of anything I believe in if they don’t want to so just leave us up to our own decisions for goodness sake.
I’m sure my social credit score is tanking as this is being typed because I said “Mask” in a negative light but most of America agrees with me they just aren’t allowed to know that others feel the same way. Google and the Globalists can pound sand, don’t poke too hard at the part of America that just wants to live in peace, they’ll eventually do something about it.
I couldn’t have had a worse experience at...

Even higher prices. $13.50 for below average theaters and $18 for VIP... Which, to be clear, means absolutely nothing.
All the marketing language in the world can't make up for this place and its poor service.
Dropping to 1 star, and I'm officially finished watching movies in Wenatchee.
This is what happens when there is no competition...
Insane prices. Literally higher than any theater I've been to in the entire country. My wife's a travel nurse... I've been to at least 20.
And for what? Average to below average seating. The worst sound I've heard in a theater in probably 10 years. If they aren't embarrassed when the sound demo plays, they should be.
Average staff. I've not had a single instance where someone was purposefully kind or sought to make a great impression. Considering the town of Wenatchee is the friendliest place we've been to in about 5 years, this concept is actually puzzling.
And don't even get me started on the other theater this company owns in town...
Final thought and why I'm dropping another star: the pre-movie ads selling pre-movie ads literally couldn't get...
