Was surprisingly very disappointed in our stay at the new location. Prior to them relocating, I had stayed multiple different times at La Quinta in Wenatchee and always found it to be adequate especially for the price. However, our 1 night at the new location and I was not impressed: 1-If you are a local and live within 50 miles of the hotel, you will be required at check-in to pay a refundable deposit in the amount of $250 dollars. So if you put an address near by, prepare to be penalized. 2-Only information we were given at check-in was the time they provided breakfast in the mornings. We weren't even given a WiFi password for the supposed Free WiFi. No info on pool times, no time of checkout, nothing. None of that would have been an issue had there been some sort of informational sheet in the rooms, but nothing was provided. I had really enjoyed the old location having coffee/tea/cider available 24hrs in the lobby which this new one did not. 3-our room was gross. They need to improve the amount of time they allot their housekeeping turnovers be done within and give more time for the housecleaners to properly and adequately clean the rooms between stays. I would also recommend they implement a standard of cleanliness check be done by management prior to guests checking in. The room had caked dust on surfaces within view, the floor had crumbs in spots, the chair had a questionable soil stain, I found a claw hair clip by the bed that did not belong to me or my young daughter, the wall upon entry to the room had discolored smears in a large area of it, the bathroom sink was clearly not even scrubbed, it was apparent the glass shower doors don't get cleaned. And the SHOWER?! Out of the dozens and dozens of hotels I have stayed in over the years, I have NEVER before felt the need to physically clean and sanitize a hotel shower before feeling okay with using it. There were what appeared to be scattered boogers slewn across the shower walls that were immediately noticeable to anyone with the gift of sight. They also need to educate their cleaners and inform them that the pink/orangish colored slimy gunk built up along the corners, edges, and covering the drain, is a type of bacteria that is a precursor to mold. It's gross and unsanitary, but also easy to remedy and prevent. Do better. In my opinion, if a hotel is going to deter locals from being guests there by charging them $250, they should at least provide them with a room that's worth at least half of that...
Read moreI recently moved back to Washington and I stayed at the LaQuinta Inn Wenatchee while I moved into my home. I was first impressed by Paisley who called me the morning of my reservation. As soon as I hung up the phone I knew that I was going to a hotel with quality hospitality. Paisley and Lexi really took good care of us everyday here at the hotel. When we arrived we were greeted by Allison. She was sincere and made us feel welcome with her down to earth vibe and positive attitude. Every morning we were greeted for breakfast by Constance and Elizabeth. It was enjoyable chatting and seeing their smiling faces each breakfast meal. When I would go outside I always saw Craig working on the grounds, always busy and always working. I was impressed by his work ethic and positive attitude. I want to thank Soria and Hailey for helping me out with local directions, and all my deliveries. This hotel is also very secure, the room key loss policies ensure no one can enter your room, (which I have had happen at the last hotel I was at). They also have night shift staff that walk the halls. I would see Drew and Noile every night up front working and cleaning. This hotel is very clean. One of the cleanest I have seen in a long time, especially at this price point. The hotel housekeeping staff are my favorite. Every day we would chat, and run into each other in the halls. Augie asks you everyday how you are and is always smiling. Shelley and Tanya cleaned my room and when I left them a note about not leaving soaps, they wrote a friendly note back and signed their names. The housekeeping is excellent here! What made our stay here at this hotel so memorable were the staff. I have had many extended hotel stays and this was a truly unique and wonderful experience during a stressful and chaotic move. Thank you for providing such a great experience. I am definitely choosing this hotel over any other in Wenatchee, because the service is best here. They will help you with anything you...
