Le Labo — Attraction in West Chicago Township

I normally would not be one to write a review, but had to come here to talk about my experience yesterday. Went in the store with the intention to purchase and stood around smelling the different scents for about 10 minutes. There were two people working and one was helping someone while the other was behind the counter. Tried to make eye contact with someone to assist me and no luck. The person behind the counter was busy shuffling papers. It was when I turned to my son and said I love Santal but refuse to buy it because no one even said hello, that we preceded to walk out. When we started to walk out is when we heard “ have a nice day”. We immediately went to Dyptique where the staff is ALWAYS friendly and extremely knowledgeable about their fragrances and make you feel welcome. Glad I didn’t spend my $$$ at Le Labo and spent it at Dyptique instead. I will never step foot in LeLabo again. Totally felt snubbed...

While staying at The Robey we were excited to see that the room was stocked with Le Labo products for us to use during our stay. My husband and I had been fans and were excited to visit the brick n mortar to take in all of the amazing aromas. We ended up getting a discovery set and have been meticulously going through each one, making notes on how the aroma changes throughout the day. Since we opted for the Discovery Set upgrade to include a 50ml bottle coupon, we are excited to determine which aroma we should acquire. We now plan to visit The Robey again in the future just so we can play in the neighborhood and treat ourself with Le Labo! After waiting for over 1 year.. I am loosing my patience now! I’ve bought the home diffuser and run out of oil for it. I’ve called any store here in chicago and they keep telling me out of stock. Like I said , I’ve been patience for almost 1 year and now my patience it’s over . I can’t believe they sell $ 400 diffuser ( by the way, been broke 2 times..) and they don’t have the oil diffuser for that. Look like a scam and I am really frustrated to not be able to us it. This company need to figure this out or take the diffuser out of the game!! So so disappointed!!!!! Please before by the diffuser.. make sure they have...
