Studio 1258 — Attraction in West Chicago Township

This place was absolutely terrible...Myself. my brother and I were sold tickets to a "supposed" open mic for unsigned talent last night. These Janky Promoters had these young boys on flyers floating around Facebook like they would be performing and even had them selling tickets and when we got to the door they were told they couldn't get in due to their age...However if you have to be 21 why is there a 16,17 and 19 year old on flyers that look the same as the "fake tickets" that We PURCHASED. The so called "black business owner was very nasty and rude because we were upfront and honest about a situation. We weren't disrespectful to her at all but she was so busy being loud ,disrespectful and trying to make a scene that I decided to just leave and chalk the money up as a lost. This woman knows that she is in a high crime and violent area. She took advantage of youth or allowed someone to use her business to sell tickets to underage children to perform and then belittled them and their supporters and turned them around all due to them not having their ish together...It was literally only about 8 ppl in the bar which to me shows that you need the business...That place isn't for young kids trying to perform ant and show their talent it's for a big back motorcycle club of old folks who look down on the neighborhood of kids they opened a business around. We will never be back and I will be sure to report this business for fraudulent ticket sales...to minors because there is nooooo age limit on the tickets and again flyers with minors floating around fb to promote this Janky Business...It was almost 10 pm and nobody was performing and she admitted no one knew when they were going on. Also the lady's name is Tracy Chatman she was supposedly an off duty police officer, The Promoters who promoted underage kids for the 420 friendly even was dj hunters nightlife, lighshow entertainment and urban 95 Micheal Hunter on Facebook

This place was closed so called due to no lights I was sitting outside. Waiting and no one told me anything til last minute had everything gated up got dressed up to find out they was closed for the whole day they could have at least put up a note or some saying closed for the day I sat there waiting thing they was running late but never again a waste of my time and my whole day was ruin sitting there I was so upset it will be a very I hate last minute things please put a sign up next time to let people know in advance so we want be waiting outside for a long time thank...

Last night my brother got very excited for a open mic performance, that he work hard to prep for! Unfortunately he arrived at the location and was unable to get in because “He was under age”. However the tickets that we purchased has no age requirement on it. It is very disheartening to do this to young boys that are already struggling in the community.
