Went to this restaurant in Chicago on pulaski and Roosevelt and ordered food. Gave the old man my card he said it decline then a young lady came and tried she said it decline. I was confused because this was my payment method every time I ordered from them. Left because that made me feel uncomfortable and went to McDonald’s to only find out that el grand swiped the month of the lil card and I didn’t have enough for the meal. So I called and went back up to elgran. I called my called 3 times in front of them so they could hear the transaction and them know they took the money off. They told me they couldn’t do anything or refund me because the transaction didn’t pop up on there payment scale that my card swiped. I argued them up and down about it because they are basically saying it didn’t happen but I have the transaction history to prove it. I’m so upset because inflation is high and it was very hot I was just trying to feed my family and they took my money and decided giving back was not what they wanted to do. At this point it is definitely the principle and now I’ve made a police report and yes I’m taking it to court and not for no $36.22 but the max for a restaurant stealing money...
Read moreThere's a reason why I stopped going here about a year ago. I'm not sure if the owners changed, but the quality and taste of the food has diminished greatly. The prices have gone up but not because the food is better. The 2 pics attached are of a nacho supreme and cheese fries. The nacho supreme comes with ground beef, tomatoes, sour cream, lettuce. I don't eat meat but the price of the nachos did not change without the meat, ok fine. The cheese that they use now is really thick and tastes nothing like nacho cheese. The lettuce looks like they tore it instead of cutting it and the overall appearance was thrown together. The same thick cheese on the nachos is the same thick cheese on the fries. Nothing brag worthy about the food and I won't be going back anytime soon. I'll just make the trip...
Read moreI literally asked the woman about a burrito dinner. I told her exactly what I wanted. She could've explained that the burrito dinner comes with fries instead of beans and rice like I wanted. But instead just assumed I was talking about another meal. Even after I told her it was my first time eating there. She then points up to the menu at the top. But I spoke directly to you. Why does the menu matter if we are speaking to each other? She clearly doesn't listen or execute orders. Then won't take accountability for a misunderstanding. It's my money so I want what I pay for. I don't want fries with a burrito. I want beans and rice for a side. The place was clean. But you can't eat there. Get a better listener who gives...
