Super Submarine — Restaurant in West Chicago Township

I have gone to this spot for years, and they always had decent food with nice portions. Plus it's the only late night spot close to me. But I had to speak on my last visit there. There were three customers in line, including me. After placing our separate orders (each containing the Italian beef combo) a man came in and stated the beef he just ordered smells spoiled and asked for a refund. Then a lady came in and said she bit into her beef and had to spit it out. The meat was spoiled and I asked to switch my meal to a pizza Puff combo. Idk what happened with the meat! But either their refrigerator was broken or they got a bad batch...either way it makes me question if I want to go bk anytime soon. Sidenote: the manager handled the refunds very...

They changed food not like use to be. They serve over cooked gyro meat thats hard and rubbery. It's takes over 20 minutes for an Italian beef. The mild sauce watery and disgusting. They prices went up. The chicken is ok. I paid for a chopped steak to get home to a soggy cheeseburger.
