Just spoke to the manager âAudraâ about having to come back 3 times to get a style I was finally happy with. And looked flattering on me.
Audra is extremely rude and has no idea how to talk to human beings let alone a paying customer.
I wound up coming to Manor Salon 3 different times and dealing with 3 different stylists
The first bad haircut I admitted was my fault. Because I didnât describe the style I wanted very well. This appointment was with Jessica OâHala She was very nice. But basically gave me the same haircut I walked in with. Just much shorter. I soon realized I was not able to style it myself to make it look presentable I was charged $50 for this haircut. With $20 tip total $70
I was upset and called and asked to be seen again âŠas I really hated the style and didnât want to leave the house looking like this. (see pic one) I wanted the style fixed as soon as possible. And requested whatever stylist was available as soon as possible.
Rather than trying to accommodate the customer, she actually gave me a hard time and said they âprefer to have the same stylist perform the re-cut as they work on commissionâ⊠and therefore the second stylist wouldnât be making any money off of me. Which made me feel the need to offer to pay for a whole new cut. As I admitted it was my fault that I did not communicate very well the type of style I wanted.
I was seen the 2Nd time by Christina Smith. She was very nice. However, I was taken back to have my hair shampooed immediately. And had to request that Christina come look at my hair while it was dry (and styled by myself at home prior to coming)âŠso that I could show her the problem and what I was unhappy with. AND this time I brought a picture of a Bob hairstyle which is what I was hoping she could make my hairstyle look closer to. (See pic -brown hair model) She talked alot about a âshagâ hairstyleâŠwhich I never requested. And actually had no idea what it even was. But apparently somehow wound up with. ( I had to look it up when I got home to realize this is the hairstyle I had)
She did make my hair look much better this timeâŠbut still Definitely NOT a Bob (see pics). I was charged $30 and gave a way too generous tip of $40. (Total $70). I was in actually almost in tears as I was so grateful that I felt good about how my hair turned out. BUT, she obviously did not cut enough off, because it grew back into a very unflattering style again in ONE week.
I again called and explained the situation. This time I was sent to Kristi Milligan. Kristi did come to look at my hair before it was shampooed. But never actually shampooed it before cutting it. I had already agreed to pay for another full hairstyle- so not sure why this was not included in the $40 price I was charged?? (Plus a $20 tip- total of $60 for this 3RD and thankfully final haircut.). Kristi did not send me back to get shampooed at all. She also did not waste time with any small talk. I felt she was short with me and quite rude. As if it was my fault there was not a single stylist there that could actually style my hair. Even with a picture to guide them along.
I also showed Kristi the same picture of the Bob haircut. She disagreed with the âreally short Bobâ that I specifically requested. And said it would look like a âbowl cutâ. But she thankfully gave in and agreed to cut it the way I requested.
So $200 , and 3 stylists later, I finally got the haircut I wanted all along. I didnât even mind paying for three haircuts, but itâs the ATTITUDE problem of the staff really bothered me. I would not let anyone of their stylists touch my hair again if they paid me. Horrible experience. Horrible management. Which is obviously the root...
Read moreI got a gift card to this place for Christmas and both times I have gone have been horrible. I went for an appointment to have my hair dyed and she missed spots with the bleach so I had dark circles through my hair and she had to reapply the bleach leaving my hair uneven so she triedTo tone it to even out and it didnât work. I asked for rose gold and I have half pink half white hair. I could dye my hair better at home. The second appointment I made for my son and I called and said I wanted his hair dyed no haircut they told me they didnât have any appointments for almost 2 weeks so when I finally go they tell me they have him scheduled for a haircut no dye. Itâs 230 on Saturday And their hours say they close at 3:30 but theyâre telling me they close at three and cannot do his hair despite they made the mistake. Will never schedule here again and will tell everybody I know it is the worse salon I have...
