We're really impressed with and fortunate to have such a wonderful library. The collection is expansive, the staff are kind and helpful, they have wireless internet access, the children's area is great for various ages, and they rotate the main toy sets periodically. The building is beautiful and very large, providing various spaces for privacy, studying, teens, meeting spaces, rooms, etc. The library offers numerous opportunities to engage the community. Be sure to check their events calendar. There are programs for everyone--children, teens, families, book clubs and socials, tech help, and more. Sometimes they have Friday Flicks--afternoon movies with popcorn. In the summer, they have Moonlit Movies at the amphitheater across the pond. The pond is beautiful and has a fountain, a bridge, and a nice trail path that goes around the perimeter connecting to the amphitheater. There are sculptures and artwork outside along the path as well. Wonderful place to take the family for a walk, picnic, scooter, etc, and I've seen people fishing. They usually have a great 4th of July fireworks display, too.
The library system has been easy to use for checking out books and letting you know when a book is coming due or when requested material is held and available. They have a huge selection of books, magazines, dvds, and online resources. You can check out several items at a time and renew for I think 3 times before returning. I really appreciate the ease of use and...
Read moreMy son is an avid reader and goes through a lot of books, I do not know where we would be without the Library. We moved into the neighborhood a few years back and discovered what a Library should be. Our previous Librarian was always helpful in finding books, but never at suggesting them. There are 2 Librarians that changed everything for us, Miss Jena and Miss Betsy, they are able to give great reading suggestions to my son week after week. Prior to meeting these 2 young ladies, we were constantly struggling to find him things to read. They will even go ahead and put new stuff on hold for him that they think he will be interested in, which is always pleasant surprise when we check our holds. My son is getting older now and has been reading the young adult stuff, but we still start at the kids desk during our...

Instead of kicking SEVERAL people out just for a single man's outburst, perhaps you should relocate to the downstairs section.
Hell, even just asking them to remain off the library computers for the duration of their stay that day is better than sending people with no rides to pick them up walk an hour long back to their house in 34°F.
A professional courtesy if you will; overall their handling of the situation was unnecessarily harsh, and their treatment of their customers was disrespectful; saying “Were you warned?”, “No, You weren't”. May I note this was said in a rude tone of voice, and without a chance for me to insert my 2¢ on what...
