Valley Pub — Restaurant in West Des Moines

Stopped in today. Bartender was amazing, music was amazing, then the owner shows up and blocks patrons from being able to play songs on the jukebox because she didn't like the music that was playing when she stopped by. Spoke to a couple of regulars and they said that the owner finds "black music" "offensive" and only wants certain types of music played. Once the music changed, so did the vibe. Sucks to suck. This place is a zero. The food was phenomenally overpriced and below average in taste & portion & presentation. (Styrofoam plates, Lays potatoes chips as the only included side, meager meat portions on sandwiches) Drinks came out wrong despite being very simple, and the bartender even wrote down the drink order.
