Subway — Restaurant in West Des Moines

I've been frequenting this Subway more often these days. This is one of my Go-To Subways. I have tried Subways at quite a few places in Des Moines. And, I can say - by far - this is the bets of the lot - both in terms of service and quality of food.

The staff is amazing. All of them do a wonderful job. Rohin (or Arun) - He has been the one who takes care of my order most of the times. Very nice person, humble, with a great attitude, great listener and customer focused. Jen - She is an amazing woman. Pleasant attitude, very attentive. Rocky - He is another wonderful staff. Great service and nice friendly attitude.

Being a vegetarian, my options are limited. But, the staff makes sure that their hands are clean and washed and they take proper care of my dietary needs.

And, Rajesh - he is the owner and manages this outlet quite well.

This place has steadily gotten worse and worse. The last two times have been horrific. 1st time a long, curly black hair was in my wrap. When we called, the response was, "well, what do you want me to do." Not sorry or oh my gosh, just annoyed they had to help a customer. This time we ordered two kids meals and the bread was so hard an adult could not bite into it, let alone a child. The bread was stale, the veggies were slimy, they were out of bacon and mayo. They then over charged us for drinks and chips we neither got or requested and overcharged for the kids meal. Not only will the food be disgusting, but they will steal you money. Overcharged by $12. This subway was not up to par with others I've seen. The selection was inferior when it came to bread choices. While this may have been due to having so many customers that day the "subway chef" that served me seemed to not even know the thing I was asking for. 9 grain wheat bread. The "subway chefs" were clearly in a chaotic mess taking more than one order at a time and getting several messed up. Granted there was an over abundance of customers but that method clearly wasn't working. I did however end up with something vaguely representing what I asked for so... all's well that ends...
