Baker Family Wines — Attraction in West Sacramento

Went there with a friend and we were so excited to try the wine! Unfortunately, we never got the chance to try any because we sat at the bar for 15-20 minutes waiting for someone to acknowledge us.

Totally understand that you have to wait when it’s busy and people are there before you. But we sat watching people who arrived 10 minutes after us, getting served first. All the while, neither bartender said a word to us. We had to find a menu ourselves. By the time we decided to give up, there was no one else at the bar. We had such a nice afternoon at Baker Family Wines. My husband is a big Giants fan so when we heard about this winery opening we knew we'd be visiting soon. We stopped in on a rainy Saturday afternoon, did a tasting and ended up buying a bottle to enjoy. What really made the afternoon special was how friendly and inviting everyone was! The co-owner also made it a point to come out of his office every 15 minutes or so to greet and talk with everyone who came in. The wines themselves were delicious, unique and very reasonably priced. This was my first time ever coming to a winery and we stopped in because my family are Huge Astros fans. We came all the way from Houston and this was such a great experience!! The vibe is so chill and accommodating. The staff is very knowledgeable and kind. If we lived here, this would definitely be a regular spot...
