Family run restaurant in a hidden corner off Harbor Blvd, but a hidden gem. Went on a Sunday, during their brunch buffet hours which go until 2pm. During this time, you can only purchase their brunch buffet option which was $25 for adults and $10 for kids up to 12 years old. Alcohol not included in the price, but you can purchase separately. An assortment of food is offered during their buffet hours - pancakes, eggs, bacon, fruit, pork chile verde, pork chile rojo, enchiladas, beans, rice, chicken with poblano peppers, chilaquiles, coctel de camaron, pozole, menudo, a chocolate fondue station (probably missing a few items, but you get the idea). An assortment of food options at a reasonable price. Everything was hot and the food was good and was always stocked. Employees often will check and refill items as they run out. The main menu isn't offered during their buffet hours but if you go toward the tail end of the brunch buffet hours, the server mentioned you can begin to order from their main menu items. All the employees were super friendly and service was attentive. Will need to come back to try their main menu items. This rating is solely on the brunch buffet, which I...
Read moreI saw this restaurant pop up about a month ago and thought it would be just “okay,” boy was I wrong. First of all the food was amazing and not too terribly expensive. The portions are what I would call very large and also filling. On top of that the food came out quite quick and a few minutes after I got my food I was asked if it came out alright despite the restaurant not being table service. The ingredients tasted fresh and I would highly recommend the birria tacos, which is what I ordered and are pictured in the photo below. This is easily the best Mexican restaurant in West Sac currently and I will be going here from now on for Mexican food. Very pleased that a what seems to be locally owned restaurant moved in to a mediocre Denny’s. If you live in West Sac (or the Sacramento area in general) and enjoy Mexican food, I cannot stress this enough to go and give this place a shot, I believe you will find it...
Read moreThis is my absolute favorite Mexican restaurant EVER! They are the best kept secret in West Sacramento! The restaurant is tucked back and kind of a little tricky to get to. But it is absolutely worth it! It is 100 out of 10 in terms of their food, salsa's atmosphere and cleanliness! I love the Chicken burrito, and I have tried their Carne Asada burrito, fries and Chicken Nachos and they are all SOOO good! I love that every one of their Salsas are so good even the hot ones! My bestie says theis restaurants food is the best Mexican food she's ever had next to eating at her mom's house! And nothing compares to her mom! I'm so happy...
