went to get my 6 yr old son's passport today and brought my three-month-old yorkie puppy. Everybody that worked there thought it was so cute. But Anne had us at an open table next to the computers not even in the passport room which is was the first red flag of unprofessionalism. then some random guy came in with a bird sits at the computer. So then they told him that he couldn't have the animal in there. And then they said that I couldn't have mine in there either. So then she said that because there was literally only one paperwork left that I had to finish, that we could finish it outside. So then my son went downstairs to the kid's section in the library. And then I went to go down and find him. And then the passport agent librarian Anne said, Oh my God, your kid could have went outside and got hit by a car. And I said, you're the one that told us we had to leave. He went down in the kid's section. You don't need to scold me about my kid. He didn't do anything wrong. And she said, I don't need your attitude. Now you can leave right now. And I said, you didn't even give me all of my paperwork back. And then she slammed it down on the bench. And I said, this still isn't all my paperwork. And she said, yes, it is and stormed off. And then I go to my car, put my dog in the car. And then realized that she still has my ID. Because when she took a copy of it, she didn't give it back. And then when I go back to get it, I'm like, can we just please finish the last page. And then she's like, no! you were rude to me. And now we need to reschedule. Im done. And then she's like, you just blamed me for your kid going downstairs. And I said, nobody blamed you. You told us to leave. So he walked down there. She's like, that's not my fault.i said I never said it was And then just kept escalating it. And then threatened to call the police. Totally unacceptable and had my kid walking out in tears do not come here for your passport these librarians are clearly miserable with there life, rude and don’t know how to handle...

He is a PTSD comfort animal and ive never been asked for credentials. I keep them in my safe. Also there is zero sign's posted saying no animals except service animals in the first place so i dont bother with his harness when i come here till now. Im fealing very discriminated against. I will never donate huge bags of books or food to this establishment...

The West Warwick Library offers something for everyone including activities for children and adults, an ESL program, help for a variety of charities, access to the internet, and my personal favorite, a small store filled with used books for sale. It is definitely worth visiting. Sadly, they won't allow you to stay...
