We kept stopping at 3 or 4 different points on the trail and this was by far the best one! Lookout point provides a spectacular view of the canyon and the waterfall. It’s a great spot to get a picture of yourself in front of the waterfall. The view is absolutely incredible and worth the stop. You’ll see why the park is called Yellowstone once you visit this location.

The path to the lookout is only a few yards and it wide. The path is paved and extremely well taken care of. The railing is mostly natural rock (you can see us seated on) and drops off steep on the other side, so watch your young ones who may want to climb!! You may need to take turns with other guests to take pictures because there is only one optimal spot to stand for pictures, but it’s worth it. I hope you get to stop at Lookout Point during your trip to the Grand Canyon of...

It's Yellowstone National Park! One of the most beautiful places on the planet. The falls and Grand canyon of Yellowstone are absolutely surreal. The pictures do not do it justice and in some cases don't even look real. The hike down to the falls is well worth the time and the effort and I might add is not all that difficult. The hike down the other trail to look back at the falls is a little bit more difficult, it's a little steeper but it is well worth the hike. As a matter of fact it is the preferred view in my opinion of the falls and the canyon. I've done both hikes twice now and would not hesitate to do them again. Once you reach the bottom of the hike, take your time and take...
