Pilgrim Candle Co — Attraction in Westfield

So, I'm generally a fan of shopping local over "big brand", was in the area, had an anniversary coming up, saw the shop, said sure, mood lighting, right? I walked in, didn't even get a hello, whatever, maybe they're busy with something even though there's nobody here.

Fast forward a bit, finally get noticed and being treated like I'm stealing stuff. Not sure where they think I was hiding these things, but I can assure you I didn't have any bags.

Shrugged it off. They need to protect their merchandise, maybe I struck them as worrisome. Ended up purchasing two beauties that smelled great. ... In the store.

The first I lit, a few days later, smelled like industrial chemicals and I ended up spending most of the day in bed with a migraine over it. The other still smelled pretty good, but it burned way too fast and uneven when you consider the price.

I rarely bother to review negatively, but I would be remiss if I didn't warn people away from, by my experience, somewhere sketchy that may very well make them sick. I hope if you decide to shop here, you find everything...
