Just attended my second performance, OPUS, at the Clague Playhouse Community Theater. An absolutely delightful and intense experience. Laughed, teared up a few times and was jolted by the ending. The interaction between the actors was mesmerizing. So genuine! Guess that is the beauty of a small, community theater. Only 93 seats, so all seats are amazing. And with the acting, there is no hiding behind elaborate sets or special effects. It's right out there in front of you to be enjoyed. Read moreI love this little playhouse. It’s a very cozy and I’ve seen probably six plays today and they’ve all been good. Sometimes they’re quirky, but they’re always enjoyable. It’s a lot of fun to go here. They also have a great fundraising jewelry sale in December. That is not to be missed. It’s called the jewelry heist. The plays are performed in the round meaning you see them from three sides. I think the entire theater probably seats about maybe 100 people it’s small but there’s not a bed seat in the house. This little community theater has been going strong for 96 years and we’ve attended many plays over the years!
