I adore Dr. Rosanne Paul and I appreciate her efforts. She called me to apologize on behalf of her short-staffed schedulers.. However, I am uncomfortable ever returning because of a receptionist there. There is a receptionist/scheduler in her office that was always a little cranky. I chucked it up to, again, understaffed, stressful work environment. She was always saying more with her eyes and tone than with her words, so it was easy to ignore. 07/18/23 I got an order from Dr. Paul at my followup, that I'd need more treatment for another month. I gave the order to the receptionist and her sass was palpable. "I can’t schedule you right now. I am busy. I need to call you to do it." Okay fine. 4 weeks go by and that right there is the amount of time (give or take a little) that I could have finished my treatment. I can’t ever know for certain but, it felt pointed. Mistakes happen but I called to that office (2 rings) and voicemail ..twice. I called Dr. Paul's other location and got clinical staff on the line, and they told me that I should have received a pink slip and that was my ticket to get scheduled, so they were confused on why I was calling them. I explained the women wouldnt schdule me right then and there. I was calling to get ahold of someone, anyone live... finally Dr. Paul herself called back. Again, she apologized and before my phone died, we were going to get someone from her clinical staff to schedule. Before I called back I realized I simply feel uncomfortable returning to the westlake location again. Its already taxing on my job to leave in the middle of the day for nearly over an hour, three times a week, so I decided I wont be returning. The said sassy receptionist gave me bad feelings and it almost felt purposeful.
