National Computer Recovery — Attraction in Westland

National Computer Recovery (NCR) meets a valuable and important need that many people have. Al Makled is a great person to work with. He met me in the parking lot and brought a cart over for me to unload into. I had multiple boxes of stuff to recycle: cables of all types, old phones digital cameras, CD/DVD players and many other miscellaneous household electronics that had passed their 'use by' dates. I also had my kids' old laptops and Al took the time to explain how he would remove the hard drives and makes sure that he made them unusable to make sure that my data and privacy were protected and then did the work in front of me, in just a few minutes. The only things he can not take are old style CRT TVs and computer displays. I highly recommend NCR as a great business to work with and Al a terrific professional...

I'm happy I found this place. I recycled 3 laptops and a few other small items. I'm most impressed with the destruction of my hard drive. Al (recycling staff) added multiple holes with a drilling tool to 3 hard drives, and added liquid to ensure the drive was destroyed. Thank you, Al, for your help and expertise. This is a great place for recycling newer electronics! The owner, Al, was incredibly nice and made sure to show me how he destroyed the hardware. Be aware that the place is a bit hard to find!
