We normally go to Vua Kho Bo but decided to try 168 and I have to say it was a pleasant experience. Price, quality, selection is comparable but the service was different because 168 wasn’t pushy. They didn’t shadow and micro manage your every move and then try to up sell every ounce and pound. It could be due to who we had at the time but that was more than enough to convince us to come back. Either way, it just depends on the convenience and where you’re at because both places offer the same thing.
We always get the crispy jerky and this product is always pre packaged by one pound bags. At 168, they also offer in half pound which I like. It’s super easy to spend more than you like. An average pound is $18 and the jerky is $36 a pound. We walked out with 4 different types for a total of $80+.

And the only reason why I weight it as soon as I got it because I read the reviews and saw someone said that this store usually will short sale the customers...But anyway, long story short, they shipped it right away and even though I didn’t get within the 3 days window like they said (not their fault- due to covid-19 delay in shipment) it’s still good when I got it. And honestly it’s pretty good, I just wish they would put a little more chili on it since I like it spicy lol. Overall, I’m still going to order from this merchant, therefore please don’t short sale my kho muc can when I put in another order lol Thank Yoooou...

"Vua Kho Bo" even gives out free drinks and other samples. Looking closely, the two stores import foods from the same producer somewhere from either from VN or China. It 's up to your choice to buy from 168 store or from Vua Kho Bo. However, I recommend staying a way...
