Final Touch Bakery — Restaurant in Westminster

These people can never follow directions. I’ve ordered cakes from them for the past few years for my birthday and every year they mess it up. I love the way the cake tastes but they can never decorate it properly. In the past years I’ve done more complicated designs (given they are designs I’ve gotten from their instagram page) so maybe that’s why they can’t replicate it. This year I opted for a plain white cake with white flowers. That is the most simple cake possible. I sent the lady a photo of what I wanted where the flowers were off to the side. I show up at my designed pick up time and the cake isn’t ready. I have to wait and when the cake comes out, the flower is in the center. I tell the lady to fix it because I wanted the flowers off to the side. She proceeds to tell me that I should’ve told them before and that they can’t fix it. I did tell them. We ordered our wedding cake and paid for the cake to be delivered at 2 pm. Our wedding started at 4. At 4 I was told the cake hadn’t been delivered and they had closed at 3. We called and called and called but no answer. I sent an email (not a very friendly one since I was getting ready to walk down the isle). My future sis-n-law knew the owners daughter and was able to get ahold of someone. They told her their driver was in an accident but magically the cake wasn’t damaged.
