Alicia's Creative Art Studio Inc. — Attraction in Wheaton

When I tell you hands down this place was the reason I have gotten so far in my art and career, I mean it 100%. I walked into that studio barely even knowing how to hold a piece of charcoal or mixing the color brown to winning multiple regional/state awards and am now heading off to one of the best art schools in the nation and world. Alicia taught me about integrity and discipline and would give an arm and leg to each of her students if she could. From figure drawing to life-size murals and even commission work, Alicia has given so many amazing opportunities to each of her students. Alicia was always able to put a smile on my face with every single class and pushed me further as an artist than anyone ever has. Seeing all the joy she brings her students, Alicia has inspired me to become a teacher myself.

To anyone whose child/teen shows an ounce of creativity or artistic inclination, I would recommend these classes. Or even if your kid/teen is just looking for something new to try out, I would highly recommend her summer camps. Your kid will meet so many new friends and find so many role models at this studio. This is an absolute hidden gem that I couldn’t rave...

Would not recommend the owner if you’re an adult. She went on a tangent.. Besides being monotone and Condescending, she is definitely bitter with no attention to detail. They were literally just copying and painting pictures of Pokémon which isn’t her artwork and is copyrighted..You can tell she never really went anywhere with her art. This is why she caters to children(they don’t know better) definitely claims to be an artist and offer “graffiti camp” but can’t read lettering and doesn’t use spray paint.. yet has a spray can on their building. lackluster at best. She claims adults minds are closed, yet she herself is probably the most close minded adult...

Best art studio you can walk into, Alicia has a beautiful spirit and way with tapping into the kids needs and making every child feel seen and heard. This is not only a wonderful place to advance in the art world but to grow as an individual as well with a community of young artists who will always be a support for one another. This is a second home for many as Alicia has structured this space to run on the good nature of her heart and with the intention of serving each child that walks in with the outmost dedication to give.
