Full disclosure, I started volunteering at Lucille’s a half day a week , some months ago, because over the years I have purchased from Lucille’s a dining room table with 6 chairs; a kitchen table with 2 chairs; a dining room buffet; books, cds, albums, drinking glasses, a mirror, & some clothing. The furniture here is the best I have seen amongst the resale stores on Rand Road between Euclid street and Palatine road in Arlington Heights which includes the other resale stores: Wings; Goodwill; Salvation Army; Habitat for Humanity aka Restore; and even Community Threads (which is north of Palatine road & northwest of Arlington Heights road on Rand road, all of which, other than Goodwill, resell furniture, too, and from the others I have purchased a couple of dressers, an armoire, three side tables, several rugs, clothing & miscellaneous knick knacks! Happy shopping; this strip on Rand is a resale gold mine for comparisons and buying convenience!!! See...
Read moreThey have a good collection of furniture but a bit overpriced for resale.. We bought a dresser mirror set for $200 or $250, totally worth it.. It was a sturdy piece with deep drawers and glass top, wood is in great shape.. Got a piano for $137 recently (marked price $175).. If it's been there for long you can negotiate.. They mention the date, the piece got into the store.. They have jewelry, clothing, decorative stuff, cds, books, furniture like dining tables and chairs, dresses and mirrors, chests, cabinets, sofas, side tables, office desk, lamps, recliners, vases, China sets, etc.. They can deliver if you live close by at an extra cost.. You can donate by either dropping off at store or request...

It's rubbed off not only on our wall, but also off of the piece itself. Really cool piece, but either take the time to seal it when you get it home yourself or pass it by, if you can't get an answer from an associate on if it's properly sealed. I'm a renter so not thrilled to have to explain...
