The park is great. A hidden tunnel goes underneath the property if you head down towards the river. You may go all the way through, view the spider looking crickets that saturate the ceiling, and return to the surface through a surface entry at the end.

Falling down monument. Really sad. Also, the only two trash bins are in the parking lot. Grassy park area is lovely, lots of seats and benches, no tables? If you walk the trail, it is not a river view, but is shady, tidy and paved. Extreme disappointment in neglect of monument.

Awesome kilns along the rail trail! Well preserved! Placards around site that give a nice history lesson on the kilns, how they were invented and used, all the way through their retirement. Nice spot to explore if you have some spare time!

The history here is everywhere. Very informative about all details of this place that once operated. I enjoyed reading all the information about this place. I love seeing old building and structures. Very well maintained area.

This place is really good If your want to learn more about the history of the American industrial revolution. And besides that the old kilns look very picturesque and mysterious. Something like Moais of Easter Island

Such a unique place to see and you can stop right here and check it out quickly. The trail runs right along here too if you have more time and want to walk/run or bike.
