I am going to this school mainly because at the time it was the only school in the states that offered a Bachelor's of Radiology Technology degree. I'm thinking about switching my major to English though and then transferring to a school where the English programs offer more classes and opportunity. It's a great school, it's just very small and the town is small. Although, it has everything you need from like restaurants and Walmart and Target and even a small hiking trail. The mall sucks by the way. And overall there just is not that much to do in Wichita Falls in general, not to mention the school spirit is pretty low, you should see the football games. It's kind of pitiful how many people actually show up. Also, since the school is pretty small, there isn't a lot of super interesting or varied classes being offered. I'm minoring in Philosophy right now, and I cannot major in it because the department here is too small. Granted the teachers here are amazing and they really do seem to care for you and want you to succeed. However, if you're looking for the "magical" college experience like in the movies, I suggest you go elsewhere. If you just want to get your stuff done and leave, then this is probably the...
Read moreI attended this school for three years. The professors, for the most part, are great. I had my favorite professor at this institution, but this college is not a choice school. From what I gathered while I was there it is a "budget" school where you go there if you have to. I'm not saying this due to the price, but due to the quality of education. The professors do what they can, and it works well for lecture type classes, but for any classes needing hands on experience or technological study this college is extremely lacking. Wichita falls is also a city strewn with poverty and bigots. Like any city there is bad and good, but looking at anything online about the city of wichita falls shows the lackluster state of affairs this place has to offer. The college and city fit for some, but for most I would not recommend spending your time...
Read moreUnless your without options, this is probably the lowest quality University you'll experience. 2 out of 10 teachers so far are actually teaching. The rest are Google teachers. You Google it and teach yourself. You pay $7500 for a semester and your paying to have a piece of paper that you probably would of learned more about producing if you printed it off online building a template. However. If you can go somewhere else or have the ability to try other locations, you may want to expand your horizons!! This location is very poor and the city is very poorly handled. If you want to check it out just ride the bus line around for a minute. You'll learn alot about a location by immersing yourself into how they treat the majority of the population here which is poor and unwealthy. Try to visit...
