My fiance and I moved to Wichita recently to PCP for my company in which I have been with for over five years. I visited this location this past week and spoke to the manager Conner. We picked out a sectional for our new living room and decided to fill out the app after Conner explained to us that they go off of our references and employment. My fiance who was second listed on my app was called and told we did not get approved for the furniture. I then called in and spoke to connor who again told me they couldn't work with us and upon asking why that would be he tells me that it's because we just moved into our location which I had disclosed to him in our first conversation. I ask him why he wouldn't have told me that would automatically disqualify me and he then told me he as the manager he doesn't know now what would qualify a person and what doesn't and became very condescending with me. With that being said I ask the other gentleman if I could take a picture of my application and was told the he would give it back to me after they enter it into the system. Today after Connor infomed me that he didn't know what he was doing and laughed at me I told him I would be by to pick up my reference sheet and that's when he informed me he had already shredded it without saving any information that I had specifically ask for. I have never done a rent to own so I was unaware of the qualification process but after this experience I will just wait to buy my furniture outright which is what I've always done before. If I could give this place 0 stars for his unprofessional behavior I would. I am appalled by the way he conducted himself when all I wanted to know was who to speak to further and why moving for my company would negatively reflect the decision as I thought my successes with my company would have been in my favor. This is the first time I have ever took the time to write a google review as I am disgusted with the way he handled himself. In the next day I went into the store and from the moment I had contact with the employees I felt very welcome and taken care of. It was the owner of the store and his son that I had contact with and they helped me through the whole process of picking the exact items I was interested in which for me were different from what we're in stock cuz I had special needs and so he helped me get them ordered for delivery and the application process was very simple and only took about 10 minutes.
