Lovett Sundries — Attraction in Wilkinsburg

I live a stone’s throw from Lovett sundries and had been super curious when walking by. My roommate and I decided to pop in and loved meeting with Mrs Lovett. She was super friendly and helpful explaining their product selection. They have a range of testers for their product line on the front counter and I loved the quality and natural scents of them all.

I ended up purchasing the shampoo bar because I loved the idea of not having to use a separate conditioner. So far I’m completely addicted! My hair has more volume, it’s super easy to brush after the shower and it doesn’t frizz if I let it air dry! Unbelievable!

I also got a tinted lip balm and it’s perfect for a little pop of colour and moisture!

I’m excited to stock up on more shampoo and some of the body soaps!

I just stocked up on the buff and polish soap and honest to goodness I was amazed at how well it works on tough dead skin. We all know in summer our feet toughen up as we wear sandals but this soap really does gently and easily remove tough calluses! Love it!

I also got the shaving puck and my legs feels so much smoother with far less nicks when shaving!

I bought the charcoal soap and dry shampoo too but haven’t cracked into them yet- I will most certainly add to this...

Our household has been absolutely enamored by Lovett Sundries since we first started buying their products at a holiday market in east end brewing six or seven years ago. It started with their beard oil and slowly but surely we’ve added the cast iron conditioner, cutting board conditioner, rose water face cream, and olive oil soap to our regiment. On top of being household staples, these make great gifts for anyone who loves to cook or wants to keep their products as local as possible. For convenience, they offer in-store pick ups for online orders but I love to factor in time to browse because they always have thoughtfully curated goods in their retail area. The proprietors are friendly, warm and accommodating. No shortage of kindness here and they sure do know how to make you feel valued. Really great spot for handmade soaps and lotions. I purchased the charcoal soap and the buff & polish soap. I really enjoy both! The buf & polish in particular is great for rough spots on feet - it really gets in there! just be careful to get all the soap off after using it or you'll slide across the tub like I did. The charcoal soap really attaches itself to all the oil on my face and takes it right off! so if you're into that, it's a good idea. if you like the oil on your face, maybe you'll find some other uses.
