Read moreShowed up here after visiting a close by resivoir that failed to come close to a cattle pond. Cataract lake even though only a daytime campsite area was perfect for us. Ducks chillin at the boat dock deer nearby chowing down on grass and a light sprinkle. Our dogs went straight for the water they loved it, not too many folks there due to being a weekday. Weekends most likely much busier, surprisingly quiet for being near the interstate. It fit our one day trip perfectly and the dogs got away from the 105 temps and found a huge water...

Parking was in close proximity to each table and was convenient. Nice shady spots or sun so good variety. The small lake was nice to look at. Restrooms are located here and centrally located.
