TLDR: I don’t leave lower than 3 stars unless I’ve been offended, so since I wasn’t- 3 stars. The food was ok, the service was although amiable, very slow, and the atmosphere was laughable considering the price of everything. They have you pretty captive at the hotel, so maybe that’s why charge what they do? I just don’t understand the value. We decided to eat here and were seated at a table in the hotel lobby area (not inside the restaurant area) around 7:30 the night we were staying at the hotel. I’m leaving this review a bit late, but it was the week before Easter, as you might be able to are the Easter tree decorated in the lobby/dining room? By the time we were visited to ask for our drink order, we had been sitting for at least 15 minutes. If it had been any other restaurant, not inside the hotel, we would’ve left. They got our drink orders and we waited another 15 minutes to actually receive our drinks. (I got a coffee with kahlua which was good, as expected) and we were told that we would be visited again in a bit for our food order. We had originally planned to get a full dinner, but after waiting another 20 minutes before the server came back for our food order, we decided that it was getting really late to eat a full meal, and looking at the dismay on the other diners’ faces as they waited longingly for their food, we decided that waiting for a full dinner would put us past our food cut off window 🤣🤣🤣. We ordered appetizers instead: Baked Garlic Brie (Served warm with toasted mini bread slices) - we did enjoy this but felt that it wasn’t served with enough bread slices and had to order more as there was a lot more cheese than bread. Pretzel & Cheese (2 /g. Pretzel sticks and warm cheese) the pretzel bread was a bit dry and the cheese sauce tasted as if it were an opened can of GFS nacho cheese. For the price, we had hoped for a bit better texture and flavor. Shrimp Cocktail (6 jumbo shrimp served with cocktail sauce, chopped celery and lemon wedges.) The member of our party who ordered this enjoyed it. Like I said, we had initially hoped to order a full dinner here but we’re happy that we didn’t because by the time we received our appetizers it was almost 9pm. We couldn’t believe everything was taking so long as we didn’t see the place as being over busy or crowded. I’m not sure if there was any music playing, because we were seated in the lobby area. Therefore, I can’t really comment on atmosphere because we were in a hotel lobby sitting next to families with children who were tired from waiting for food. I’m thinking the pricing may be where it is because of the captivity of the audience, because charging real steakhouse prices for what we saw coming out on other diners’ plates seemed steep to me in my opinion. The wine list is fairly short, consisting of mostly California wines. The whiskey/bourbon list is pretty decent and the rest of the spirits lists are pretty standard.

The food was bland. Asked for pepper corn sauce and got some form of day old brown gravy that too was bland. I had to scrape it off the steak and ask for A1 sauce. The server was good, but management lacked any type of care for the patron. I asked him to taste the sauce, when he came back from the kitchen he agreed it was bland and left it at that. Which surprised me. We had to season everything. Almost like a cafeteria version of real food. No offer was made to fix the issue. why it has a 4 star review is beyond me. you can have better fair at any fast food restaurant. My wife's was the same only she was smart enough to taste the sauce before ruining her steak. They were missing chives for the bakes potato which is trivial. The steak by itself was good if not bland but by that time we were seasoning everything with A1 and pepper. I want to mention the server was good, attentive and courteous. The manager well.. he was apologetic but it came off like a well rehearsed placation to an issue he has heard many many times before. If not for the waitress his attitude and food would have earned this establishment a single star. Which I would never give out. What can you expect from a hotel restaurant.

Not exactly what id call a steakhouse more like a restaurant in Best Western hotel . Its got nice views of mountains. The waitress is very s l o w and should probably find a different profession. The waitress took the order of the person next to us and we were here first . The guy at the table even caught it . Like really your gonna do that . She did ! My wife and I had there coke products that were really watered down no carbonation the sweet tea was out of a drink machine . The food looks amazing and tastes really good . We had the duck and ribeye.

Worst meal ever, and I have never posted a bad review of anything. A large group made reservations having been told this was the best steakhouse in Williams. I guess there are no other steakhouses. The salad was fine, but it is hard to screw up a plate of lettuce. Of the 18 of us, two people had the salmon which was great. And I heard from the two that had soup that it was fantastic. One person said his steak was good. That’s where the good news ends. One sent her food back and asked for nothing as a replacement. It was like shoe leather and after spitting out three bites gave up. The $38 steak was not the grade a restaurant has access to. In fact, it was not even the grade a grocer has access to. Almost everyone had trouble cutting the steak with a steak knife. It would have been better to buy a $7 steak at Safeway and cook it yourself. The green beans were a bit undercooked and tasteless. My baked potato was half spoiled. Most of the food was cold and few steaks were cooked as ordered. Mine was rare when I ordered medium. The person who ordered rare got well done. Many had to send theirs back for that reason. At least they got warm food back. Others wished they had sent their food back but were to timid to do so. Remember, this is a hotel using their breakfast room for dinner, not a resort with chefs. Considering the menu only has four meals, cooking a cheap steak correctly should not be a problem. On to dessert. The cheesecake was not good, looked like it was purchased from a grocery store. The strawberries on top were bitter. They ran out of cherry cobbler, but then surprisingly had some after everyone chose something else. The peach cobbler didn’t have the correct spices and was a bit tasteless. At least the ice cream was OK. They also ran out of the cheesecake, but didn’t tell those who ordered it and just left them waiting with no dessert. We waited 45 minutes for the check after the wait staff asked everyone what drink they had because they forgot to write it down. Some said they got the wrong drinks. I read the reviews before going and took the bad ones with a grain of salt. I should have paid attention to them. They were on point comparing the food to a TV dinner…which would have been better. Having worked for executives at a resort years ago, I should have gone with my hunch that eating dinner in the breakfast room of a Best Western would be a mistake. I’m sure some people get lucky and get good food, others may not have a good pallette for food. The manager was not capable of dealing with so many problems and became very nasty and rude. I suggested she had a problem with her kitchen so she would know and maybe fix it, and she denied that and she said everyone else enjoyed their food. She is not facing reality. Most told me they will never go back and will likely tell their friends to stay away. Some fed the leftovers to their dog. A good manager would have recognized the problem and at least given everyone in our group a discount, especially since she tacked on a 20% gratuity due to the size of the group. I’m not willing to pay $38 for a poorly cooked, bad quality, cold steak. If the restaurant can’t handle a large group, they shouldn’t take the reservation. Or they should consider serving the food when it is ready, even if that means you don’t serve everyone at the same time. I doubt going in as groups of four would have been any better. The manager needs to learn that the customer is always right, especially when it comes to food, even when the customer is wrong. Knowing how to handle this type of situation is what a good manager does. Had she done anything remotely fair to make up for the problem, I would not have felt it necessary to write this review to warn others to eat at your own risk…with my best wishes you will have a better experience...

I'm writing this based off 2 experiences. Our first experience our waitress was incredible. Our food was not great but we decided to go back to give it a second chance so we went as a family for my birthday dinner. This time our food was great but service left me wanting to leave before our food even made it out and I was about to cry half way through. First, the gentleman that sat us said he would get us waters. 20 min later still no water but the table he sat 10 min after us got water. I watched him count and check every table except ours clearly saying "their fine, their fine" as he checked each table off. I watched him stand at the host table with who looked to be the manager they both looked at each table I even looked directly at the manager as he glanced over our empty table. Still no water. Our waiter came and took our order and we all finally got juice and milk. I tried so hard to conserve my juice until food arrived but it took over an hour for that to happen and I was already dying of thirst so when I finished mine and asked for a refill only to be told it doesn't come with a refill despite the fact that the first time we came our waitress literally gave us a pitcher of juice. We still hadn't gotten our food we had all finished our drinks so I tried to ask as nicely as I could but by then I was hungry and so thirsty so I'm sure it came out more abrasive than I would have liked if we could at least get some water because we never got any. We should have just paid for our drinks and left at this point. We waited though got our food which tasted good much better than last time. While I was in the bathroom though with my kids my daughters unfinished ribs got removed from the table which sucked because she wanted to finish them and loved them. I was honestly so happy to leave and just get home so I could spend time with my family. I told my husband I don't want to go back. Being forgotten for so long honestly is what...
