The Hotels Rooms and the location are nice. Super pool and gym. Friendly staff. Traveling with a small dog we could take her for breakfast in the lobby or on the patio. Being at the end of the floor, room 5403, there was no Wifi and you had to wait a few minutes until the hot water came through. Being a dog friendly room the room had a little smell which they tried to compensate with some "air freshener " from the A/C unit. For us that is a no no. We found 2 sliding panels in the A/C unit that emitted that smell. We simply kept the window open, which is nice, so we did not need the A/C at all. The other turn off was the Breakfast!!! Plastic, plastic, plastic! I'm on vacation once a year, book a nice hotel and look forward to a nice breakfast with china and metal cutlery. And then this! Worse than McDonalds!!! Paper plates, paper cups. Cutlery packaged in plastic. You have to do 3 trips to collect all your breakfast items. Cold, hard boiled eggs with a blue ringed egg yolk. The only warm items are packed bagels or English muffins with egg, ham, and cheese. Only white bread. No butter just "spread" and cream cheese. Never had such a bad breakfast. Every hotel guest leaves 1/2 a cubic foot of garbage after breakfast. Most breakfast choices are high sugar, with additives and color. We cancelled our 5 day follow up stay. I assume the breakfast is outsourced to the cheapest provider! You could do a lot better Woodland! More sustainable too! PS. We brought our own whole wheat bread and real butter!

Beautiful place to have a small conference. Seems to be kept in good shape. Loved the big windows with a wonderful view of the forest. It was really really cold in the main room, all three days I was there, and there were many complaints of it being cold by other attendees. Also, the main set of bathrooms is not on the main floor. You have to go downstairs to the basement. The main floor only has a small staff-like bathroom.

Great venue but the event was told they cannot have food or drinks unless they buy them on site, sounding like a silly rule, especially since the on-site food is only between the hours of 4:00 and 9: 00pm.

Location is exceptional with a short walk to the historic areas along a very nice path. You can also take the shuttle bus from the visitor center which is right next door. The breakfast was nice as is the gym for a hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I just wish they had an on-site restaurant. Also very close to Busch gardens. The price was very fair and I hope we can stay there again in...
