Parking is only free for half hour. We didn't have time to make the daily fee of 35. worth visiting Colonial Williamsburg. I would recommend looking into multiple day passes for here, Jamestown, and Yorktown. You can get some better deals. You can easily spend a full day at each historical site to really enjoy the experience. I was at Jamestown and Yorktown in 2015.
