Wonderfully small venue. Couldn't believe the performing artists could pull off 16 speaking rolls between both of them... that's right, just two (Popcorn Falls). Stage, small. Energy level, quite high. Would've been 5 stars if not for the "restricted view" seating, like the old Tiger Stadium. A couple of poles block a clear view of 100% of the stage if you're not front row center or sitting side stage. However, the playbill makes a vague reference to improvements coming for next year, so hoping as we'll definitely be visiting a few of the 2019/20 season...
Read moreI have been going to the Williamston Theatre since their first season. Their productions are always highly professional and deeply engaging. I saw Alabaster yesterday, and it was one of their best ever. All of the actors were excellent, working as an ensemble at every moment. Read moreMy husband and I stumbled across this local theatre about three years ago and since then Have tried to go to nearly all of the theatres performances. They are consistently exceptional and not great in this local theatre house way, but absolutely great! Plus, no matter what seat your in, you got a great view of the stage.
