We went into the D + W out here in Williamston to pick up a birthday cake. My husband loved their fried chicken so naturally, he headed for the deli area! We talked with "Sandy" who worked in the deli area + she was so very helpful, offering some samples of their different potato salads since we weren't sure which one we wanted. I explained that we wanted to get a birthday cake since today was my birthday + my husband's was yesterday but I forgot yo order one ahead of time. I asked if we picked out one of their cakes, could she write our names on it + she was so sweet + did just that! She was so eager to please us + did an amazing job writing out Happy Birthday + our names on it. It was perfect!!! She did an amazing job at helping us with our last minute cake. She walked us over to cakes + let us make our selection + helped us select our potato salad. Sandy was outstanding + sure was a very nice lady who cared about helping her customers. She sure deserves a special thank you for making our visit there so accommodating + is a very special lady!!! Thanks to her for making our birthdays so...
Read moreNot only is the produce never fresh. Whenever I try to pay a bill here using the customer service desk there was a new excuse as to why I canât be helped. First time the lady said she wasnât trained on how to do it. Second time the guy let me do it, now today Iâm being told that they require a physical copy of my bill to keep in the store with them. And refused to allow me to pay my utility bill. Yâall really shouldnât offer the service when your employees donât care to help customers pay their utility bills.
Nowhere at the service desk does it state that they need to keep a physical copy of anybodyâs bill in order to pay a utility bill there. I find this to be an excuse to not help somebody pay their utility bill. Again, why offer the service? If your employees you keep behind the desk donât care to do their job. or if itâs the employees abiding by Some weird regulations set in place that yâall actually need a physical copy of somebodyâs utility bill to remain in your store. It should be written and documented at the...
Read moreThe deli used to be awesome, with the grab and go case where you could pick up the little 2 for 5.00 pasta salads (the rotini pasta and Greek feta pasta salads were the best) or the little celery and carrot stick pack with the dill veggie dip, or the bigger veggie pack with the celery, carrot, grape tomatoes and spinach dip. They were awesome, especially for those on the run. Now that selection is lacking. Tons of salads with wilted lettuce or wraps that are bland and underwhelming at best seem to be the in things now. The 6.00 veggie tray with the carrots, celery, peppers and tomatoes served with the dill veggie dip that used to be over by the produce and dressings are also no more. Pretty disappointed to see them go. The staff is always very friendly though and they have a nice craft/ microbrew selection as well as a nice wine selection. Produce is always nice and they make a fantastic...
