I would almost always give them five stars, but this last visit was very disappointing I was there a few days before this visit and I looked at the price of their romaine lettuce and it was $2.50 for a three pack. I held off because we didn't really need it at the time. I decided to get it this time and mind you their price changes take place on Thursdays normally. I was there on Friday passed up the lettuce went back on Tuesday and got the lettuce. In general the price should have been the same as far as what day of the week it was. I usually look at the prices and I'm careful but there was no sign for the lettuce this time but I needed it so I grabbed it figuring well it's going to be the $2.50 it was a few days before. I didn't look at the receipt until the next morning and the same three pack of romaine was $4.99. double what it was a few days before and more than I've ever seen it at any store anywhere by a long shot. I feel like the missing sign was not a coincidence because when it was $2.50 there was a sign. To boot they're supposedly not taking returns still when most stores have started taking returns again if they weren't in the first place, so I think I might be stuck with this horribly priced purchase that was conveniently missing a shelf sign. I'm going to take it back today and see but I think I may be stuck......
Read moreI’m frustrated. I stop at Sun Plum on my way home from work to get produce for dinner, and I just don’t think it’s that great. If you dig in the back for lettuce, that is OK but I’ve never gotten green beans that have lasted until I could cook them which would be 2-3 days. They look like they are all ready going bad on the shelf. Wrinkly and soft. I bought a bag of carrots, and a bag of celery last week to make soup this week. I opened them today and the celery is already yellow and the carrots were mushy and rotting on the ends. I mean, how long have these been on the shelf? I’ll go out of my way to buy fresh produce rather than what is just convenient. If it had happened one time I would be OK with it, but this has happened to me every time I’ve shopped there since Sun Plum opened. Nope,...
Read moreBeen getting our grocery here for years. When I stopped by today trying to return a rotten watermelon that I got from the store less than 2 weeks ago, I was told by the associate that if it’s past a week they’re not going to refund it. They were rudely pointing out their return policy for me which was HIDDEN underneath of other flyers. There was NO RETURN POLICY mentioned on their receipt. I’m not sure who’s gonna make a drive within a week to specifically return something that cost $3. With a few incidents happened with price double scanned “accidentally”. I’d recommend all our friends and family to stay away from this place. There’re farmer’s markets with better customer service within...
