Manager is very rude. You aren’t allowed to bring your own furniture but the furniture they provide is dirty; and there’s mold in the ceilings. One of the guest walked in the venue with a beer bottle. Once I was made aware I address the situation immediately and had the guest to get rid of the alcohol, but the one of the employees went threw the trash. They didn’t like use address the dirtiness and went to threw our trash to see if there would be a way to keep the deposit. A message I left the venue: “ I was made aware that a guest walked in with a bottle of the beer, I addressed the situation immediately. I actually told the guest he will need to leave because no alcohol was permitted at the shower. Far as the Karen comment, no one called that young lady a Karen. We speaking among ourselves, and she may overheard someone say that the front desk, Diana, comes off as Karen. She was very rude when someone was calling to inquire about the venue; that’s why they didn’t book at that location. Please tell that young lady she was totally fine. I know my mother-in-law addressed some issues she had with the venue and she walked off. I had a feeling she was upset and something was wrong. My mother-In-law was very upset with the venue, she was trying to point out mold, the dirt the chairs, and the kitchen wasn’t nearly as clean as how we left it. The $100 is no biggie to me; I just want that young lady to know that wasn’t anything she did wrong, she was only doing her job. The staff attitudes are bad staff does not have standards so regardless of who is assisting the customer information is inconsistent and lack of awareness of customer contract. They have to call their supervisor who is not available and the customer is never right. Why have a full functioning kitchen that can not be used but the have in the contract they will cut on stove if needed buts it’s only a prep kitchen. Why do you need fire if you are preping. The facility needs to seriously up their standards with the rise of developments and technology of parties in 2023. They need get away from paper and faxes but face to face interaction of the contact so they know people understand do not do nothing but come and go or you will not get your deposit returned.
