Brown-Burton Winchester Park — Attraction in Wilmington

Our family had an end of the summer family gathering at this park last summer. The park was clean, the swimming pool was delightful n the lifeguards were attentive n friendly enough. However the turn off was the bathrooms...horrible! There was NO toilet paper, NO paper towels n NO running water to wash your hands. The inside of both bathrooms (mens/womens)was not clean! No one told us when we applied for the permits n paid for use of the park that there would be no supplies for the restrooms AND no running water! Unbelievable! Where do they do this? Nevertheless, I would still say go to this park n enjoy the park n pool but bring toilet paper, paper towels n jugs of water just in case! Oh, we had to get napkins n use our spring water. Our germaphobic sister had just so happened to bring a huge bottle of hand sanitizer n saniwipes...

Gotta watch out for Corn Pop and his gang, along with his bad acting rival Brandon Lyingall. Oh, don't forget the dull rusty 🗡️🔪, don't want to step on those either. The pool is nice, large, cool and clean. Much cleaner and safer than it was back in the 1960s. Way better lifeguards the past decades than in the gang infested 1960s! Lots of parking, benches, grassy areas, plus walking trails galore. To me this park is quite safe and uncrowded compared to so many in So. Calif. where I reside 6 months...

We come to the community pool every summer. The lifeguards are professional and try hard to keep a watchful eye. The park itself could use some clean up but there are trash cans around. People just have to actually use them. Ive been coming forever with my daughter and she loves it. Today I took my 15 month old granddaughter and she loved it too. Not crowded at all. Oh and this pool and the Biden pool are one...
