Absolutely love this place — hands down one of the best meat and grocery stores around. The meat is always incredibly fresh, with vibrant red cuts that are perfectly portioned. Every time I cook with it, I barely have to season anything — the natural flavor is just that good. It’s clear they take a lot of pride in maintaining quality.
As someone who follows a halal diet, I really appreciate how accommodating they are. Everything is handled with care and respect, and they tailor their offerings to meet the needs of all kinds of people in the community — whether you’re looking for halal meat, specific spices, or culturally familiar products.
Beyond the meat, the store itself is spotless and super well-organized. It’s one of those rare places where you can immediately feel the care and attention behind every shelf and counter. And the prices? God damn. You're getting top-tier quality without breaking the bank.
But what really sets this place apart is the people. It’s a family-owned business, and you can feel that warmth from the moment you walk in. The staff are not only helpful but genuinely generous. One moment that really stuck with me: while shopping, one of the staff handed my son a chocolate bar — no reason, just a sweet and thoughtful gesture that made his whole day. Little things like that remind you why supporting small, family-run businesses matters.
Had a great conversation with them while checking out too — the kind that makes you want to keep coming back. Highly, highly recommend this spot if you're looking for quality, kindness, and...
Read moreMy old hair store is now a meat market?! I decided that I needed to stock up on some meats so myself and a coworker stopped by last week. I purchased various meats and was satisfied with the price. Picked up some jerk wings to cook and they were so delicious that we both went back yesterday to grab more. The guys behind the counter were very nice and personable.
Now the lady at the register? Not so much. I didn’t enjoy our interaction last week and really didn’t like it yesterday. I kindly (because I was raised with manners) asked how much a bag of potatoes were as we were checking out and her response was, “I have no idea.” Didn’t bother to say, “I’m not sure, but I can check for you.” Nothing of the sort. That turned me off completely. I almost didn’t want complete my purchase because I didn’t feel valued as a (new) customer. If you are in customer service and dealing with the public you need to be personable. Period. No matter if you are having a bad day or not. Will I be back? Yes, because I liked the selection and the banter with the guys - they made you feel appreciated as a customer. I plan on being just as dry and cold as she is if she’s checking me out next time. That’s not my personality, but now I know to interact accordingly when dealing with her.
Having said all that, I’ll go back a third time and you all should check them out too! Wishing them a...
Read moreWhen we walked in the store. No one was at the register. We(my sister and I) proceeded to walk around the store picking up odds and ends. As we walked we observed two gentleman working behind the meat counter, the cashier (a female) and another gentleman was outside the meat counter. In passing my sister asked how much the case of sodas was., and got no response, so I repeated. As she passed heading to the register she stated the price which I didn’t hear clearly. So when we get to the register my sister says how are you today? The female seemed irritated and gave a hey as though she really didn’t want to speak . Needless to say everything that was going to be purchased with CASH was kindly returned to it’s rightful place and we went to the grocery store where we were at least greeted with a smile and hello. ATTITUDE IS EVERYTHING!!! We will not come again my sisters words. THE OWNERS RESPONSE WAS CRAZY , that’s why you have so many bad reviews. Now I’m putting y’all on Facebook. I just love social media. Check out my...
