Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Wilmington

It is rare that I make it my business to contact Corporate for bad service. I walked in and waited for over 10 minutes and the gentleman in front of me hadn't even been acknowledged or spoken to. (We were the only customers in line and there was one family waiting on one order) I decided to get in my car and go through drive-thru instead and waited another 20 minutes even though no one else went inside the store or came in drive-thru since I initially got there. I made my order and when I got to the window, I was charged 4 TIMES how much I was supposed to. The cashier didn't know how to refund the transaction at first and contacted someone who ripped the receipt when they gave it back to me, hoping I wouldn't see the transaction/ store number. After getting a refund, I was told that they didn't have the ingredients needed to make my order. The cashier could care less about the interaction. I wasn't offered any alternatives and left with nothing, but an incorrect charge/hold on my card. I'm really disappointed in how little concern there is for major chains that have locations in what some would consider, "Bad neighborhoods". The neglect and disregard trickles down from management to employees and leaves customers dealing with rude employees and bad service. This in turn leaves potential customers leary about even coming to your store. This Popeyes lost me and I'm sure everyone else in the line who dealt with the same wait and...

If I could give this a zero I would. I arrived there at around 9:35 pm and waited in a very long drive through line until 9:51 pm, when it was my time to order, to be told that they are closed for the night even though they're supposed to be open to drive through until10:00pm!!! Then as I was leaving I saw the employees through the windows chatting and laughing and clearly they were all still there and not doing their job.

There were also 2 kids playing and running around the cars in the drive through area, which was very unsafe for both the kids and us the drivers, not sure if these kids are relatives of someone who works there. People need to be responsible and not allow this to happen.

I ended up not being able to get food for the night cause after all that wasted time the other good food places will be closed by the time I get to them, and because of very irresponsible people. I won't be buying from Popeyes...

I’m honestly surprised they’re still in business.🤦🏽‍♀️ The place is a hot mess. Don’t bother coming here after a long work day . You can tell they don’t deep clean daily, the drive thru sign is busted with no light bulb and leaning to the side. The lines are always long due to them not have something EVERY TIME ! A few times they didn’t have change so they were only accepting cards (which you don’t know until you wait in the long line and they tell you over the speaker once you’re ready to order) , on several occasions the mic/speaker wasn’t working so they put up a sign that reads “out of order” , I always have to make sure my sauce is in the bag for my tenders because a few times it wasn’t , the food isn’t always fresh or hot and the workers lack professionalism. I’d rather travel to get Popeyes whenever I’m really in the mood because...
