SnS Seafood & Catering — Restaurant in Wilmington

I ordered twice from SnS and the food was awesome! I was in DE on a work assignment and was there over a month but didn't find SnS until I Googled seafood restaurants in my area the last week and half I was there. Needless to say, they were located five minutes away. I read other reviews and decided to give them a try. I'm so disappointed in myself for not finding them earlier. The food was extremely tasty and the portions per platter was more than enough. I actually had enough to meal prep for the week AFTER eating the first night of purchase!

I had the opportunity to try the Alfredo Fettuccini with Shrimp and Chicken and the Whiting Platter with greens, cabbage, and sweet potatoes. In addition, on my second visit, I tried the XL Shrimp and Snow Crab Steamed Platters, needless to say, EVERYTHING was superb. I have absolutely NO complaints or suggestions.

If you're EVER in Wilmington DE you honestly need to stop by SnS Seafood & Catering. If you love great tasting seafood, you'll be cheating yourselves out of one of the best seafood restaurants in DE. Oan don't overlook the desserts. That lemon cake was the best lemon cake I've eaten since my mom stopped baking.

Last but certainly not least, customer service was top notch; and I do mean they were professional and had patience with me because I just knew I wanted seafood. . .lol. They explained every item on the menu, I had a questions about, and I never detected the slightest frustration in their voices or on their faces. So, great food plus great customer service is KEY for me. If I'm scheduled to return next season, I'll definitely be visiting SnS Seafood without a doubt. . .Believe...

2 Stars because the yong man taking orders was very polite and professional and the woman to whom he referred to as “Mom mom” also very nice! The food was not worth the $51 I paid for very disappointed the bake Mac and cheese was not baked at all the greens tasted more like vine and pickle juice the cakes were the best part and you can tell those were mad from box and not scratch. Worst part was when my ticket was presented to the line cook aka Pop pop he demanded that the young man recall my chicken wings and turkey wings because he didn’t feel like making them. The poor young man could only chuckle nervously and the unprofessionalism and just straight ghetto behavior and simply replied I didn’t call back the other orders why would I call back these. The batter mixture for the turkey wings was mushy and not done and everything was over seasoned with nothing but straight old bay!...

SNS is a Ma and Pa business, a local "To-Go" restaurant that offers a very personable, enjoyable experience by a friendly owner. I stopped into SNS restaurant in Wilmington, DE, and the staff was very pleasant about the menu. The food was delicious including the yams, cabbage and the tuna salad pasta, I would order those again! As for the owner, Mr. Shawn, he has southern hospitality about him, which makes it very helpful to get info about the menu. GOD bless this family-oriented restaurant. On top of everything else, the prices are very reasonable. 5 spoons!...
