Frog Bridge — Attraction in Windham

SO ADORABLE !!!! So, for those of you who like to drive aimlessly around & check out the sights, this is for you. Located on South St. in Willimantic,CT. It's just one of those quirky, fun places to go find & take a picture of. The REAL name is "Thread City Crossing." A committee met to name it but now no one knows that name. Everyone just calls it the frog bridge - even Google. Sigh... We should have predicted that, eh?

Our bridge is featured on the FIRST PAGE of the book, Weird New England, apparently because it represents "weirdness on top of weirdness." Hooray!
