Jillson Square — Attraction in Windham

Jillson Square Park came to be as a result of "redevelopment" in the 1970s. Originally, this space was several city blocks, which were razed with the hope of new construction. Except for a cinema on the edge of the space (razed in 2018), new construction never arrived. The "major parcel" as it's known to locals, was repurposed as a park and maintained as open space.
