Been visiting here, fairly once or twice a summer before my teenaged years. Aside from adding on new attractions, trying to update and renovate the existing attractions and expecting to earn income from locals, and visitors far and near...the difference is far from better. The mini golf course is better then NOT having one, but "come on"..at least keep the putting greens well maintained. Its not hard to buy cordless blower or sweep them all up?! If the staff care "so much" about earning money, keeping their jobs, expecting to serve locals and visitors cold beer and appetizers from the 2 or 3 year brand new bar and small cafe, the same exact rule should be apply to the golf course itself!! The challenge part of the mini golf course is good and enjoyable but the decor is and seems well dated/expired! Anchors, a windmill, rocks, some fake water features, not many fake sand traps, and hills and dips. To me in my honest opinion, the mini golf courses in eastern Florida (from Jacksonville to Daytona Beach) are far better & more attractive looking. Even just driving by! Why can't seacoast fun parks mini golf learn from other popular mini golf courses around the US?! Its not that I don't get that, its not worth debating because my words won't mean anything to the managers who run the business. How about allowing visitors far and near to enjoy the activities, not just mini golf. Go karts, the swing, etc. Relying on the weather can be very frustrating for customers..even when they pay decent money to spend some quality time with friends and family. It's also too bad they don't offer the attractions to stay open during the evening, not only just allow only mini golf! Mini golf, golf balls that glow would be awesome. I would love to upgrade the go-karts so they have brake lights. Fun to drive at night. Batting cages would be fun. Then get turned away all due to off-season approaching, inclement weather, unable to use attractions etc. I find it disappointing because there's not many other outdoor venues to enjoy. Only this one. You would think for a business being around for many years, especially this one..to actually improve and increase revenue and have a higher and better profit. But they probably can't afford to do that probably due to legal matters, state rules/ regulations and other financial problems. Obviously those don't wanna be tampered with or the business...
Read moreTerrible customer service: I purchased tickets a week early and surprised my two young children with a visit. We arrived there to find out they had decided to close for the day (apparently due to warm weather, But it was 39° that day and snowing). Previously that morning- including an hour before- I received two confirmation emails stating that they were excited for our arrival, and to make sure I fill out the waiver (I was one of four families I saw that day with excited children, for them to all be let down). There was never an email sent out stating their closure. I went into the pub and spoke to the manager there, and she was very aggressive and unsympathetic (A mother I spoke to you in the parking lot had the same experience with her). She had stated refunds already went out, but that was not true at all (I did not receive my refund until one week later, and never received an apology email or an email explaining of their closure. It was just a refund back to my bank account). I had to drive two and a half hours back home, with disappointing children. I called the office, left messages and sent emails on several occasions, and still to this day (a month later) I have received no response. Very disheartening that any company would conduct business in this manner. Be aware! And always call them before you arrive, so that your children will not be let down like mine were. If I ever receive a reply from them, I will be sure to update this post!...
Read moreTheir ticketing app prompted me to sing one single waiver after buying a combo and a single ticket. I foolishly assumed that would cover all members of my party, since I purchased multiple types of tickets and was only given this one, single waiver. When I arrived at 10, which is when the park opens, I had to wait in line to pick up my lift tickets. This ate up almost 10 minutes of our 2-hour window. At the counter the very nice person working said there was a glitch and I needed to fill out one waiver per person. This would have been fine if it didn’t eat up another 10 minutes by stepping out of line and fixing their mistake and instead all waivers appeared she. I pre-purchased the tickets.
For buying in advance, I still lost nearly 30 minutes of our 2-hour window due to their error, with no mention of extended time or other compensation. That’s 25% of my purchase wasted, which could have been avoided if their ticketing platform was working as expected, and their counter was staffed with more than one person.
The time we actually spent tubing was fun, but one person was always tubing alone because none of the tracks allowed you to link more than two tubes (in previous trips I have linked three or more tubes). After this experience I’m not in a huge rush to go back. I left feeling it was overpriced and...
