Great lake. Very relaxing atmosphere. Good nature. As of today, March 8, 2019, they released around 2000 trout. I have heard from multiple people that it might be best to not go here alone or in the dark. I've met some nice people, but I still keep an eye out when I'm there.

Great nice upgrades .. Need to stock more fish. This lake sees a tons of fishermen throughout the week and weekend.. Very educated fish.. try using 6lb test of floracarbon line with a neko rig.. Slow down your retrieve and might even dead stick a senko

Great Place to fish as there’s a nice pier and wide open banks. Great picnic shelter and small playground. There is also several walking trails around the park. Only downside I’ve found is that there is a lot of trash and broken glass around the area.

Great place for fishing . Plenty of space and the pier is big and nice but right around 3pm it turned into party central so I had to leave. I had 2 toddlers with me and my 80 yr old mother so it was to much for them. The loud music, smoking, drag racing and noise was to much. They actually block one direction of the park, which happens to be at the fishing pier, so there's only one way in or out and my car got blocked in and no one wanted to move to let is out. They said they do this every Sat and Sund so I guess I wont be going back which sucks because they were starting...

So much potential for the trails. :( Trash everywhere. Broken glass on the trails. Please don’t bring your dogs if you’re not staying on the concrete sidewalk. Most of the trails were also blocked by overgrown trees and weeds. So much wildlife and an insane amount of butterflies everywhere. It’s sad to see trash all around the lake and in the water. It's been some time now but last time I went with family for a cookout everyone had a nice time.. with cookouts, music, fishing and quiet time just enjoying themselves.. with families and friends 😁..I love WLP ...that has a swimming pool very close by..gym area..no camping out.. overnight.. security services checking even when close.. very relaxing...
