I experienced a whirlwind of emotions during my visit. First, I was confused when my GPS led me to a Foxtail location instead of Kellyâs. Then, I felt excitement upon discovering that Kellyâs had a counter inside Foxtail. Finally, I was nervous as I navigated through hyperventilating while indulging in samples to scoops of angelic ice cream. Next time I'll up the ante by alternating bites with sips of bold, aromatic coffee.
Overall, I would rate my visit a solid 10/10 for the staff, cleanliness, and the variety of indoor and outdoor seating options. The staff were friendly and communicated effectively, classic Foxtail vibe interior, and the bathrooms were immaculate. There wasnât a single piece of toilet paper on the floor, or any risky/questionable toilet seat situations.
One area for improvement would be larger, illuminated signage for Kellyâs to make it easier to spot (my visit was in the late evening). The existing signage is small with dark lettering and the counter inside isnât clearly visible from the front/outside. I assumed Kellyâs was either further down, no longer located there, or closed.
For those who are unfamiliar, Kellyâs and Foxtail are both elite establishments in the Orlando gourmet scene, rapidly expanding for good reason.
Foxtail specializes in providing coffee drinkers with a multi-sensory experience through high-quality, aromatic coffees served in a wood-adorned, relaxing atmosphere. Its trendy yet timeless elements attract a diverse range of coffee enthusiasts.
Kellyâs Ice Cream is a hidden gem created by a passionate individual who grew up with a love for ice cream. Its success stems from dedication to consistency and strong values. The ice cream is uniquely smooth and full of flavor, making the notion that it is scooped by an angel after being crafted in heaven not too far-fetched.

Read moreNow granted we came at 3:45 PM on a Friday of the first week of school⌠But this place was overrun with parents having beers and wine at the high top long table, and no joke about 15 children from St. Margaret Mary just running amok, screaming, hanging off the back of peoples chairs. (Kids from this school have even been on the news for how poorly they treat local businesses after school.) Very disturbing. No chance to do work here, or have a conversation with my family across our own table.
Additionally, As a vegetarian who doesnât consume dairy, I donât appreciate that you up charge for nondairy ice cream. How is that fair to pay close to 30% for for the same size scoop? It feels wrong to do that to such a limited amount of people. My daughter and I went to the Oviedo location of Kellyâs just yesterday, I ordered a scoop of nondairy cookie butter ice cream, and there was no up charge. I have the receipt. Why at this location?
Finally, these people donât know their Italian coffees. They made my husband a macchiato with no milk added to it and just a tiny dollop of froth on top. Yes, itâs a small amount that goes in. No, this was not right. The coffee was very bitter as well. My husband is Italian, with roots in Italy, not just American born Italian. He knows what heâs talking about when it comes to his...
Read moreGreat service here and its apart of the coffee place foxtail so you can get coffee and some foods here as well. This icecream is quickly becoming one of my favorite. Its not the thickest I've had however it is dense and you get your moneys worth for how much they give you. They sell pints here too which is awesome and convenient, probably the best way to go if your having a movie night or dinner with others. I checked out the place where they are having the open container ice cream at and I do not notice freezer burn around or inside the ice cream bins which is a good sign as it can give you diarrhea if they don't clean it out and you eat it. Overall im slowly becoming more and more of a regular here and appreciate that they have moved to this location which is a lot...
